Brunel University London is now inviting applications for the Vice Chancellor’s Undergraduate Excellence Award for the 2025/26 academic year. This Brunel university scholarship is designed to support high-achieving self-funded international undergraduate students with a strong academic background and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
What the Award Offers?
- 25 Scholarships Available
- Value: A 25% tuition fee waiver applied annually
- Up to 3 years for full-time undergraduate programs
- Up to 4 years for integrated foundation and integrated master’s programs
- Non-combinable with other scholarships or bursaries, except the 2% prompt payment discount
- Recipients may be required to act as Brunel ambassadors during their study period.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

- Hold an offer to study a full-time undergraduate program starting in September 2025
- Achieve a minimum of ABB at A-level or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification
- Be classified as an Overseas (International) fee-paying student and fully self-funded
- Pay a £5,000 deposit towards tuition fees by 30th August 2025.
Not Eligible If:
- You’re not an overseas fee payer or have unclear fee status
- You’re a sponsored student (government, employer, etc.)
- You’ve applied for MBBS or part-time/distance learning programs
- You plan to defer entry to 2026 or beyond.
How to Apply?
- Apply and receive an offer for a Brunel undergraduate course starting in September 2025.
- Complete the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Award application form.
- Pay your £5,000 deposit by 30th August 2025 to secure your scholarship consideration.
- Meet all academic and offer conditions by 30th August 2025.
Applications are assessed based on academic merit and the strength of the applicant’s motivation to contribute positively to society. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email, and fee waivers will be formally confirmed in September 2025.
